Urban culture in relation to hip hop and Tears

Tinie Tempah - Tears relates to the urban culture living in areas such as London for example as it seems to be based in a sort of lesser economically stable area. This relates to the fact that the album is called "Hood Economics". This could influence the idea that Tinie Tempah was targeting his main audience to the urban culture of people living in the "hood" or of similar sorts of living conditions. It relates largely to the idea of hip hop from the very beginning, a sort of expression that wasn't involved in any sort of over production or showing off of monetary value. It was an musical expression that ultimately comes down to 4 pillars - B-Boying (Breakdancing), DJing, MCing and BeatBoxing. This is hip hop at it's purest, with full expression without any funded production occurring to show true talent in this sort of genre. It was the first time that children teenagers and adults alike from the urban environment could give something to the world without having to pay for lessons in any of these varieties, it was just expression. The song 'Tears' has this feel to it, that is represents the urban culture originating at it's purest form.
