Prezi- Market Research And Feedback

Feedback is extremely important. To get the most out of the production of our video, we needed to see what the public thought of our video, as simply put, it is aimed at them! In particular, our target audience (14-25) were vital to our production of our video. We had to see what they thought of our video, and how we could make it better in order to create maximum impact and to get it viewed by the largest number of people possible. Firstly, we showed them 2 different versions of our video. One of these videos had minimal editing effects and had a basic story line. The second one was the one we ended up with. This one went down well with our target audience, as it has an unusual editing technique which seemed to attract the audience. A large proportion of the positive feedback was to do with the editing techniques. We got praise for the transitions, cutting to the beat, video effects and other various editing techniques. On top of this, what seemed to appeal to our target audience was the mix of a narrative story line along with the rapping clips. They seemed to think that this made our video extremely professional.

However, some negative feedback was that some portions of our music video were slightly too lengthy. We reviewed this, and together as a group we decided that this negative feedback was constructive feedback and we acted upon it by taking quite a few chunks out of not only the clip that was being noted on, but also other various clips within the video that we, with fresh eyes, had noticed were also slightly too long.
